Combining Baseball Inspiration with Service Charge Passion
What do US Baseball and UK Service Charges have in common? As a devoted follower of Michael Lewis's works, particularly "Moneyball," my journey into the realm of service charges draws parallels to the data-driven revolution in baseball management. Having worked at Salomon Brothers in the 1990s alongside figures from Lewis's "Liars' Poker," I found inspiration in the strategic use of data by Billy Beane of the Oakland Athletics.
Embracing Objective Knowledge in Service Charge Management
Drawing from the ethos of Sabermetrics, the quest for objective knowledge in baseball, I aim to apply a similar approach to unravelling the complexities of service charges. In a landscape where data is scarce and disputes are common, my passion for Residential Property Management, especially in service charge matters, fuels this project.
